The Polka Dot Challenge 2007
The 2007 Polka Dot Challenge took place on June 17th and was a great success. We had 478 starters of which 381 completed the 100 mile and 67 completed the 70 mile routes. The weather was grey and overcast at the start and some of the early starters encountered rain on the Cat & Fiddle and Snake Pass climbs but the day improved and the weather in the afternoon was good, though the riders encountered the invariable head-wind as they rode up Winnats Pass.
Dave Harmon, the well respected Eurosport commentator, proved that not only can he talk about bikes he can also ride one by completing the 100 mile ride in a respectable time.

British Cycling guidelines for the results of these Sportive rides state that times should only be published in alphabetical sequence. However for those of you who really want to see the results in other sequences then they are also published in Excel format so you can download and manipulate them as you wish.
