Welcome to the Polkadot Challenge™ - "Spud" Riley Memorial Gran Fondo

The Polkadot Challenge™ - "Spud" Riley Memorial Gran Fondo is a 100 mile cycle event, organised by Will's Wheels Cycling Club along the lines of the classic Italian Gran Fondo. It will take place on June 17th and starts at Woodford Village, 10 miles South of Manchester. The ride follows a challenging route through the Peak district and Staffordshire Moorlands. There are 16 official climbs of varying length up to 5 miles. Gradients vary from tough to severe. There is also a shorter 54 mile option. Both of the routes are fully signposted and each of the 16 categorised climbs is signed and numbered. Food and drinks are provided at two control points on the route. A tough test for all fit riders.
